Welcome to the Miracle League of Lake Placid, FL!
On Soon the cry "Play ball" will echo through Lake June ball field in Lake Placid, ushering in the second season of Miracle League play. The Miracle League’s orientation "fun day" for all athletes, buddies, and coaches is Saturday, Sept. 27th at 9 a.m. at the Lake June ball fields in Lake Placid. With the first game scheduled on October 4th at 9 am. This year, we are also launching a "Fans in the Stands" campaign in an effort to get people to come out and cheer on our teams. All are welcome to join us for these exciting games. Also, coming soon will be T-shirts available for purchase to show your support around the county in support of the Miracle League.
The response by volunteers to act as buddies, called "Angels in the Outfield," was strong last year, and we hope for another great buddy turn out. If you are interested in joining the “Angels” come out on a Saturday and sign up or for more information, please contact us by e-mail at buddyregistration@miracleleagueoflakeplacid.com or call Adela Casey at 863-441-0226. GO STRAIGHT THROUGH TRAFFIC LIGHT AT MAIN STREET 5. TAKE PARK DRIVE ROUNDABOUT AND CONTINUE STRAIGHT ON W. INTERLAKE BLVD (0.4 miles) 6. GO UP SLIGHT HILL –YOU WILL PASS TANGERINE ROAD ON YOUR RIGHT THE NEXT STREET IS JACKSON ROAD- 7. THERE IS A SIGN THAT STATES LAKE JUNE BALLFIELDS 8.
